DALF (Diplôme approfondi de langue française) is a French language proficiency exam. It is equivalent to a Diploma in French Language Studies. The DALF Exam is administered by the CIEP (Centre international d'étude pédagogiques).
DALF is the official French language diploma awarded by France's Ministry of National Education. It is recognised around the world and is valid for life.
DALF exam tests the four language proficiencies (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).
DALF consists of 2 independent diplomas, corresponding to the top 2 levels, namely:
